Reporting to the Client Experience & Technical Support Manager, the Technical Support Officer is responsible for assisting Seen by Dashing clients to rectify hardware and software issues related to their digital screen installations.
This is a diverse role involving configuration of equipment, providing technical support for Seen’s installed customer base, as well as some co-ordination of site works to rectify onsite issues.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of IT hardware and software skills. The work is predominantly office based with some fieldwork. We have a work-from-home policy that provides for one day from home per week, commencing at the completion of probation period.
Responsibilities:
Provide support/help desk (phone and online) for the SeenCMP cloud-based digital signage management system for customers with existing installations
Preparation and configuration of hardware for digital display installations
Assist with the co-ordination of onsite works to rectify issues which cannot be solved remotely (liaising with clients, scheduling installers, organising equipment)
Quoting and despatch of replacement equipment to existing customers
Maintaining Help Desk Ticket Documentation in a timely and comprehensive manner
Other general administration activity including maintaining client records, project files, stock records, systems documentation and Seen's online knowledge base.
The ideal candidate would have:
Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Digital Signage or Hardware support role. Industry experience is an advantage but not necessary - we are looking for someone with the right attitude and transferable skills.
Working knowledge of Windows and Android operating systems, networking and scripting
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
Good ability to multi-task/work under pressure to meet deadlines
Highly adaptable to changing work requirements
Personal initiative and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
Willingness to provide occasional after hours/weekend support
