At Fluidquip Australia we adopt a flexible family friendly environment. An opportunity to join Fluidquip Australia as a Field Service Technician is now available. We are looking for an experienced individual, who is willing to travel around Australasia to perform service work at customer sites and workshops. The focus of this position will be to;
execute and complete installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance work specific to customer needs
proactively identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and communicate these recommendations to the customer, thereby enhancing service growth.
Work responsibilities for this key role are:
In carrying out installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance of UV disinfection and analytical analyser monitoring equipment, responsibilities include;
diagnosis of technical problems, trouble shooting, and implementation of corrective actions
execute service activities at Fluidquip workshops and customer sites on time and within budget, with a focus on quality and safety
end to end management of service activities, including coordinating servicing with customers
maintain and strengthen relationships with customers
interact and support the sales team on potential sales opportunities that arise from service work
preparation of all service activity safety, and technical documents and reports
identify and participate in performance improvements that enhance operations and customer service
undertake product training and develop own skill sets to enhance your product knowledge in order to grow as a product specialist
uphold Fluidquip Australia’s core values in safety and integrity, including being responsible for your own actions, and caring for those around you and the reputation of the business
responding to customer queries and providing telephone support
Skills, experience and aptitudes required:
Demonstrated experience operating within a role with similar responsibilities
Ability to communicate effectively, work in a team and individually, and follow instructions
Engineering or relevant trade qualification (Diploma in Electrical / Electronics, or equivalent)
Disconnect / reconnect licence (REL) or ability to obtain, or electricians license
Valid construction industry ‘White’ card
Experience in UV disinfection, PLC controllers (Allen Bradley) is an advantage
Demonstrated time management skills, ability to prioritise and multitask
Strong investigative, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Current drivers licence.
