About the role

Kelm Hire is seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Mechanic to join our team in Cheltenham, VIC. As a full-time Workshop Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing exceptional mechanical services and maintenance to our diverse fleet of construction plant & Equipment, ensuring performance and safety.

Qualifications & experience

Diesel Mechanic Experience (Advantage)

OEM Experience Highly Desirable (Advantage)

Valid EWP License (Advantage)

Forklift License (Advantage)

Tasks & responsibilities

Repairing Small Engines, Earth Moving, EWP, Compaction post-hire.

Servicing machines in the field and break down overflow

Pre-Hire checks on equipment and small engines

Servicing repairing and maintaining access equipment (booms and scissor lifts)

Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems

Assist with basic customer service for walk-in customers

Thorough technical understanding

Ability to assist with servicing of Material handling products
