A field service technician specializing in sweepers, scrubbers, and cleaning equipment (vacuums, pressure washers and much more) is needed for a role in the Melbourne West VIC area. The position involves installation, maintenance, and repair of various cleaning equipment, requiring strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

Installation and Commissioning: Setting up new equipment, ensuring it is properly installed and functioning correctly.

Routine Maintenance: Performing scheduled maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions, both in the workshop and at customer locations.

Customer Service: Providing technical support, guidance, and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.

Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of service calls, repairs, and parts used.

Required Skills:

Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude: Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair them.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.

Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and provide excellent service.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with sweepers, scrubbers, and other cleaning equipment.
