The Opportunity:

Lead day-to-day aquatic operations across our premier facilities, ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional customer experiences. You'll oversee lifeguard teams and all staff when acting as Centre Duty Manager, coordinate pool safety, facility presentation, and maintenance, and drive optimal financial performance and risk-free operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and supervise lifeguard teams, ensuring safe pool operations and staff performance.

· Oversee water quality, facility maintenance, and compliance with Health Department regulations.

· Manage staff recruitment, training, rosters, and quarterly performance reviews.

· Maintain and update pool operations manuals, work instructions, and daily checklists.

· Support community events, promote facility programs, and ensure exceptional customer service.

What we're looking for (Key Selection Criteria)

Demonstrate significant experience in aquatic industry.

Extensive operations experience, at both indoor and outdoor pools.

Ability to liaise with all staff, customers and suppliers in a professional manner.

Ability to make judgement calls on the proper and safe use of chemicals.

Demonstrate significant understanding of strong customer focus.

Commitment to improving and growing the centre.

Required Qualifications:

Aquatic Technical Operator Course

Current Pool Lifeguard

Level 2 First Aid Certificate

Working with Children check

Safe chemical Handling

Confined Space and Working at Height Certification

If successful, you will need to undertake a police check and pre-employment medical. You must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
