Take me home is opening a new & exciting boutique grocery store in Coburg - and is the next chapter in a well established family business with deep roots in handmade food.

We are looking for a couple of experienced & passionate Grocery Store leaders to lead this new venture from the ground up, shaping the team, the culture and the customer experience.

A minimum of 1-3 years of grocery store management experience is required.

Working alongside the other leaders within the other 3 businesses your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Overseeing day to day operations & front of house service - (7 day operation)

Recruiting, training & leading of staff

Creating rosters & managing workflows

Implementing & sustaining opening & closing procedures

Managing suppliers, stock levels & ordering

Using systems back of house like square, xero & lightyear (experience in 1 or all of these is a bonus)

Maintaining the highest of standards in presentation & hospitality service

Helping shape the high standards in stores systems, procedures, culture & reputation

What we are looking for in each individual is a hands on leader with a strong background in the food retail or hospitality industry, someone who thrives in new environments, takes initiative and leads with energy and care.

You'll bring

Significant experience in a similar boutique store or hospitality management role

Knowledge of small artisan products & businesses

Excellent knowledge fruit, veg, fresh food and hand made cooking

Strong people leadership, rostering & training skills

Confidence working with suppliers & managing stock

A hard working, proactive attitude & great attention to detail

A deep appreciation for food quality, seasonal produce & paddock to plate values
