About the role
As the Practice Support Officer, you will be responsible for the provision of effective and efficient administration and service coordination to contribute to the achievement of MATSICHS Strathpine Clinic objectives, including increased practice patient numbers, attendance rates and billings. The successful candidate will be proactive and supportive in order to effectively lead the day-to-day administrative tasks. Within your role, you will be required to:
- Assume responsibility for ensuring efficient and productive use of calendars
- Coordinate room bookings on behalf of Practice Manager
- Monitor billing patterns and raise any concerns with Practice Manager
- Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of referral and follow-up pathways between local clinics and Multi-disciplinary service providers
- Ensure all core and visiting providers are set up in MMEX
- Work closely with local Practice Manager, key local support staff and Outreach providers to assist in trouble-shooting issues which may arise in the course of service delivery
- Ensure PIP, Medicare Claims, Work-cover and Insurance claims are processed in an accurate and timely fashion
- Compile statistics and assist with data collection for reports
- Claims are reconciled against received income and errors/discrepancies followed up
About you

- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Current Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card) – Required prior to commencement
- Current Criminal History Check – Willing to obtain upon commencement
- Current CPR Certificate – Willing to obtain upon commencement
