About This Opportunity
We’re thrilled to be opening a new and exciting restaurant on Brisbane’s northside in early 2026! We’re looking for an exceptional Restaurant Manager to lead the venue from pre-opening through launch and into ongoing operations.
In this pivotal role you’ll partner with our Executive Team to oversee the front of house, bar, events and dining operations ensuring a seamless guest experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Plan and prepare for service periods and functions, ensuring staff levels are aligned with expected business demands.
Oversee service delivery, maintaining consistently high standards and stepping in hands-on during peak periods or when needed.
Manage arrival and service of VIPs to the venue.
Investigate and resolve guest complaints around food, beverage and service quality.
Maintain inventory systems and review variances.
Prepare rosters that accommodate employee leave and planned absences.
Coach, motivate, monitor and manage the performance of the front-of-house team.
Communicate business goals to the team, identify training needs and deliver additional training as required.
Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Bar Manager to develop menus, wine/beverage pairings and train front-of-house staff in presentation and guest engagement.
Monitor restaurant sales; in consultation with the team and management implement initiatives (promotions, events, schemes) to maximise sales and profit.
Ensure compliance with company policies across quality management, hygiene, Workplace Health & Safety (WHS), environmental standards and general duty of care.
Maintain venue operational policies/procedures and ensure staff training and compliance.
Any additional duties within your capability and as directed by the General Manager or Group Operations Manager/Directors.
What You'll Bring
Current RSA
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Restaurant Manager or like role in a venue of similar size and complexity.
Solid and proven leadership experience in a comparable hospitality environment.
Demonstrated skills and experience using POS systems and common Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent guest service skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make decisive decisions when required.
Ability to build relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts.
