Out client is a leading Fund Manager specialised in Private Credit. The business are growing significantly and are recruiting for a Director level role to join the firm and deliver across the Operations function.

In this role, you will be responsible for the operational strategy, infrastructure and efficiency of the private credit platform, and work with the team to achieve robust governance, scalability and precise execution across loan, fund and investment operations.

In this role, you will partner with key stakeholders in the business and work alongside the executive team to oversee all daily operations, including fund administration, loan servicing, portfolio reporting, compliance, data management and risk control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic and Leadership: Lead and mentor operational staff and build a high-performing team. Develop and implement operational strategy across private credit funds, fund operations, loan servicing, reporting and controls
• Investment and Loan Operations: Manage loan administration providers, ensure accurate processing of new loans, amendments and payments using the loan administration system.
• Fund and Product Operations: Responsible for the end-to-end fund operations of the private credit funds, management and coordination of investor reporting and treasury and liquidity management processes
• Portfolio Monitoring: Identify emerging risk and provide solutions across portfolio monitoring and performance metrics
• ECL and Governance: Oversee Expected Credit Loss and broader requirements, in addition to developing robust control frameworks to safeguard data integrity and minimise operational risk
• Debt Facility Management: Oversee compliance and coordinate liquidity management across investment vehicles
• Operational Excellence and Process Improvements: Add value to the organisation by leading firm-wide initiatives to eliminate manual processes, management relationships with key vendors, and continuously review policies, procedures and operations models in line with industry standards

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in investment operations or funds management within private credit, private markets or fixed-income markets
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business. (CPA, CA or CFA also preferred)
• Deep understanding of fund structures, loan administration, fund accounting, ECL frameworks, NAV facilities and risk governance
• Excellent communication, negotiations and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge in portfolio monitoring software, investor reporting systems and operational technology platforms
