About the role

This is a Sales & Operations Manager position.

To oversee the daily operations, team scheduling, and client management, while assisting the Managing Director in developing business systems and generating new projects.

Operations

• Schedule crews, trucks, and equipment for all active jobs
• Coordinate with supervisors to ensure site readiness
• Track project progress and report job status daily
• Liaise with clients on job timing, access, and variations

Systems & Processes

• Work with Managing Director to document workflows, checklists, and SOPs
• Identify gaps or inefficiencies and propose process improvements
• Implement digital tools for scheduling, safety, and reporting

Business Development (light focus)

• Build relationships with builders, developers, and regular clients
• Assist estimator with quoting follow-ups and job conversions
• Maintain CRM or job-tracking sheets to monitor pipeline

Reporting

• Produce weekly job summary reports
• Track labour hours, disposal costs, and margins with admin VA

KPI's

• Job Delivery: 90% of jobs start and finish on time
• Team Efficiency: 85%+ utilisation rate
• Client Follow-up:100% of quotes followed up within 72 hrs
• Process Development: 1 new system or checklist per month
• Business Growth: 2 new builder/developer relationships per quarter
