Daniel Yelkovan from ri-kroot has been engaged to recruit an Electrical Construction Project Engineer / Support Officer for a well-established electrical contractor doing commercial construction work across Southeast Queensland.

This is a hybrid role with the option of working onsite or remotely, reporting to the Director you’ll help support the delivery of major electrical construction projects by combining technical know-how, project coordination, and commercial support, ensuring the work is delivered safely, on time, on budget and to the required standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing and coordinating daily electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, project standards, and safety requirements
• Supervising and monitoring electricians to ensure work is delivered on time, within scope, and to required quality
• Reviewing and implementing method statements, ITPs, RFIs, NCRs, and work packs
• Supporting installation, testing, and commissioning activities in line with project plans and relevant standards
• Maintaining accurate QA/QC records, inspections, and reporting
• Identifying, escalating, and resolving technical issues proactively with engineering and design teams
• Ensuring electrical works comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations

Requirements include:

• Electrical engineering degree or trade qualified
• Experience in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation and commercial processes
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or remotely while supporting site delivery
