Brisbane Cardiac and Specialist Centre is a growing busy cardiac testing and consulting practice located in Sunnybank. We are currently seeking a full-time or permanent part-time medical receptionist to join our dynamic team. The successful applicant will be hard working, enthusiastic, a team player and passionate about providing excellence in patient care.

Experience and Attributes

3 years' experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role

Minimum 1+ year experience with Genie medical software is required.

Proficient computer skills

Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Patient focused approach.

Experience in maintaining confidentiality regarding patient and practice information.

A team player who can self-manage.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Customer service including welcoming patients, collecting and entering patient details, answering telephone calls and enquiries, scheduling appointments, private billing, triaging referrals and diary management.

General administrative duties and supporting the Practice Manager with day-to-day operations.

Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff

Maintaining compliance with organizational policy and procedures
