Bottlejac Trading - Mirambee Feedlot is seeking a full-time Feedlot Hand. The successful applicant will have a keen interest and experience with cattle to assist with:

Inductions

Drafting

Entry / exiting cattle

Animal health - daily pen checks (pen riding or on foot), trough cleaning, diagnosis and administering treatment protocols

Mixing & delivery of feed with tractor and mixer

Accurately recording cattle movements and feed delivery on StockAID Elynx software (on-job training provided)

Paddock mustering

Pen cleaning

Mirambee Feedlot is a family owned 3,000hd NFAS Accredited Feedlot & backgrounding operation situated 10km from Dubbo NSW, forming part of our broader operations. Our vision is to be a sustainable beef production system producing beef for domestic and export markets. We value and respect our people, animals and safety.

On the job training in most areas of feedlot operations

10 on, 4 off roster (approx 80hrs over 10 days)
