Designer Staircases is one of Sydney’s leading manufacturers of staircases, based in Prestons, Sydney.

As a labourer/factory hand, you will be assisting our teams both on and offsite to ensure the smooth running of our factories and installations of our custom staircases.

Roles & Duties

Delivery runs of goods in our company truck (‘C’ class licence)

Loading and unloading trucks

Moving completed and returned jobs to storage

Preparing & checking jobs for installation

Dispatch support: unloading, unpacking goods and re-stocking items

Provide assistance/support with installations onsite as required

Care and maintenance of commercial vehicles

Perform general duties around factory as required

About You

Physically fit (able to climb stairs, ladders and in and out of vehicles etc)

Capable of lifting 20kg+

Be both a team player and can work efficiently unsupervised

Ability to work to deadlines

Punctual, reliable and responsible

Skills and Experience

Unrestricted Australian driver’s licence

Current forklift licence

Hold a white / construction card

Minimum of 1+ years factory/warehouse experience is required for this position

Have rights to work in Australia

Must be currently based in Sydney for immediate start (Sorry - no sponsorships)

Negotiable rate of pay (based on previous experience, skills, and knowledge) is available for the successful candidate.
