The Centre

This beautiful service in Bathurst is seeking Diploma Lead Educator and Early Childhood Teachers to join their team on a permanent basis. Catering to around 96 children per day, the service prides themselves on creating high quality educational programmes whilst creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children to thrive in. They have a team of connected and enthusiastic educators who all collaborate and engage with each other to create a good environment for children, educators and families.

The Role:

You will be responsible to:

• Create and maintain a fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment in collaboration with other educators
• Build and maintain meaningful and positive relationships with children and families
• Create and/or implement the educational programs through lesson plannings and intentional activities, an extension of spontaneous activities and interests and family input to support the children
• Adhere to NQS as well as company policies and procedures
• Ensure the inclusion and support of all children's learning abilities

About you

To be successful in this position, you must have:

• Diploma or Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and Care OR an ACECQA equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in childcare
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Child Protection/Safeguarding
• Current First-Aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
• Food Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
• Strong udnerstanding of the EYLF and NQS
