Retail Sales Representative – Leading Food Wholesale Distribution Company

Product Distribution is one of Australia's leading importers and distributors of global food brands. With a strong reputation built on quality, innovation, market trends, reliability in supply and customer service. We're expanding our team to serve our growing client base.
A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate Retail Sales Representative to join our team in Queensland.
About the Role:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing retail customers in Queensland - across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast
Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow sales and increase market share in the territory
Achieve annual company sales targets and budgets
Drive expansion via new markets and channels
Secure regular stock replenishment reorders across core lines and seasonal lines
Present and sell-in new brands on a bi-annual basis to store managers and owners
Work closely with operations teams to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries
Work closely with an established merchandising team in QLD to make sure stock is presented, ticketed and promoted correctly.
Represent our brand with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm
Ideally, you will possess the following attributes and traits:
5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development within the food wholesale industry in Queensland (e.g. sales, distribution, manufacturing, or services).
Proven track record of successfully acquiring new accounts and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong knowledge of wholesale operations, supply chains and distribution
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
High level of initiative and ability to work independently and autonomussly
Proficient with CRM tools, emails and Microsoft Office
Willingness to travel within assigned territory and interstate
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and "can do" attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent experience with B2B sales - selling and servicing food retailers in Queensland - ideally IGA's, MSO's, independent retailers, butchers, delis, grocers, etc
Is a natural "hunter" for sales
Confident "can do" mindset, and a proactive and positive "will do" behaviour
