The Role

This leadership role is responsible for the overall sales, marketing, and operational support of our QLD business. You will assist with contract management, identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, lead sales and negotiations, conduct market analysis, and support estimating. Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll play a critical role in driving revenue growth, asset utilisation, and operational performance in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Lead QLD sales and business development, securing contracts with Tier One and major contractors.

Support operational delivery and contract management, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with safety standards.

Maximise asset utilisation, including fleet and equipment management, to optimise productivity and revenue.

Develop and monitor the QLD business plan, taking corrective actions to meet short- and long-term objectives.

Promote WHS initiatives, ensuring zero harm through effective safety leadership and compliance with WHS legislation.

Collaborate with other state teams to support broader business goals.

Manage sales budgets and commercial performance across the region.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in crane hire, heavy lifting, or construction equipment services.

Strong sales and business development expertise with a proven track record securing Tier One or major contractor work.

Demonstrated sales leadership and exposure to managing teams and operational delivery.

Hands-on approach with the ability to engage with on-site personnel as needed.

Strong understanding of safety and compliance in high-risk work environments (QLD WHS knowledge preferred).

Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and contracts.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in other state markets is advantageous but not essential.
