Who You’ll Work With:

You’ll join a specialist structural team with decades of legacy and a reputation for technical excellence. The team works across the full structural spectrum — buildings, infrastructure, remediation, industrial facilities, and specialty systems like façades, composites, and steel structures.

You’ll work alongside architects, civil engineers, contractors, and clients — leading your own small team, mentoring others, and leaving your mark on Sydney’s next generation of major projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead and deliver structural designs across concept, detailed design, and construction stages.

Undertake advanced structural analysis and finite element modelling (AutoCAD, Revit).

Coordinate with architects, builders, and other consultants to bring designs to life.

Mentor and review the work of junior and intermediate engineers.

Conduct site inspections, resolve construction queries, and liaise directly with clients.

Contribute to proposals, fee estimates, and technical standards.

Play an active role in shaping the firm’s ongoing technical direction and culture.

What We’re Looking For:

You’ll bring:

A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and Chartered / Professional registration (or eligibility) CPEng and NER.

10+ years’ experience in hands-on structural design and delivery.

A proven record delivering diverse project types — commercial, residential, industrial, heritage, or specialist structures.

Strong working knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC / BCA, and local construction practices.

Fluency with structural analysis and BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SpaceGass, etc.).

Excellent communication and documentation skills — confident leading client conversations.

A mentoring mindset and commitment to developing the next generation of engineers.

Strategic thinking, technical curiosity, and genuine passion for elegant, practical design.

Bonus points for:

Experience on complex or landmark projects.

Expertise in remediation, strengthening, adaptive reuse, or forensic engineering.

Infrastructure or heavy engineering experience.

Contribution to bids, proposals, and client relationship building.
