The Opportunity

You’ll contribute to the design and delivery of a range of mid-scale and large structural projects, from new school buildings and aged care facilities to complex refurbishments and community developments. Working under the guidance of senior engineers and alongside leading architects, you’ll see your designs brought to life in projects that truly benefit local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and document structural systems for concrete, steel, and timber buildings.

Coordinate with architects, builders, and other consultants.

Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed engineering reports.

Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards and building codes.

Contribute to project reviews and client meetings.

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).

3–6 years’ experience in building structures, ideally within education or aged care sectors.

Proficiency in Inducta, SpaceGass and other design software.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on multiple projects.
