About the Role:
We're seeking a motivated Area Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and strengthen customer relationships across Brisbane and South-West Queensland. You’ll manage a mix of direct and indirect accounts, identifying new business opportunities and influencing key decision-makers in the coatings industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage a portfolio of customers including applicators, fabricators, and engineering contractors

Identify new opportunities, secure specifications, and convert leads to sales

Collaborate cross-functionally to align with regional strategies and drive profitability

Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and industry stakeholders

Maintain accurate records in CRM, deliver business reviews, and contribute to forecasting and stock management

Regularly call (call cycle) on assigned existing customers to maintain close contact with the market and opportunity activity

Support operations and stock planning for optimal customer service

Monitor customer satisfaction and manage overdue accounts

What You Bring:

Sales experience in the Paint or Coatings industry (Marine/Protective preferred)

Strong relationship-building, sales, negotiation, and influencing skills

Technical aptitude with a willingness to learn and educate on product applications

NACE CIP Level 1 or FROSIO certification (desirable)

Knowledge of steel preparation and coating application is a plus
