We are OLÉ Mexican Foods [Australasia], the exclusive marketers & distributors of deliciously authentic La Banderita tortillas for Australasia!
We are a family owned enterprise that operates in the B2B market ~ importing, marketing & selling, distributing & supplying our amazing products to over 700+ Retailers Australia wide.
This role is right for an individual who has a real passion for sales, the highest regard for delivering quality account management & loves delicious food! You'll develop your business skill stack & sales skills managing your portfolio of Retailers, and build great relationships working with our loyal independents & larger supermarkets in the FMCG sector.
La Banderita is one of America's favourite tortillas, being sold coast to coast across the USA in the best retailers and restaurants, and also distributed to many international markets around the world. Australia is now the largest market for La Banderita outside of the USA.
We are proud that our deliciously authentic La Banderita tortillas have also become Australia's favourite too! And with exciting times ahead for our business we are looking for a passionate Sales Account Manager to join our team!
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Based in Brisbane and reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Account Manager's role is to manage a portfolio of Retailers, using Value Based Sales techniques, to drive growth and achieve portfolio and company goals.
The position is full time and will be focused on working as an integral part of our team to develop strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
Build and maintain strong customer relationships working with our loyal independents & larger supermarkets to deliver excellent sales results
Develop existing customers in terms of value/growth and conversion of new business and cross sale opportunities
Identify and convert sales opportunities with your Retailer portfolio; and also grow opportunities within a territory / state
Develop a real understanding of the sales cycle and employ Value Based Sales techniques
Operate as a main point of contact for all Retail Sales and customer account management enquiries
Employ strong communication skills and manage customer relationships, delivering on expectations and objectives each week

In addition to the salary, Bonus is paid bi-annually in February & August based on individual and overall company performance

ABOUT YOU:
YOU are a real go-getter with a sharp eye for growth in the food retail sector and a passion to spark and maintain a relationship with your retailers. With that comes the entrepreneurial spirit to grow your business acumen, and to come out the end as a more well rounded sales person. You don't shy away from an opportunity. Your team have a strong drive to grow this business with a culture for constant improvement and are looking for someone who can match their belief in the company and brand we represent. You must show:
Experience in Sales or relevant role such as Retail / Hospitality / Travel with strong customer service focus (A minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience is required for this position)
Good understanding of the retail grocery / food service industry or relevant experience in travel or hospitality sector
Willingness to learn & improve with a positive attitude, to be a self-motivated and "can-do" team member in a strong team environment
Sales experience including a history of achieving monthly targets – highly regarded but not essential
Experience with CRM software & MS Office skills
A love for great food, retail and consumer brands (highly regarded)
