Who we are:

Since 1997 Region4 (also trading as Primera Asia Pacific, Time Lapse Tech) has been a leading importer and distributor in Australia and New Zealand specialising in on-demand label printers, applicators and associated consumables, food printers, time lapse cameras and media duplicators. We are based in an office warehouse in Keysborough, Melbourne.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a Junior Tech Support Technician to join our experienced tech support team reporting directly to the Head of Tech Support and responsible for the following:

• Handling of incoming and outgoing repairs and services including preparing paperwork for repairs as well as maintaining repairs database

• Hands on assembly, repair and quality control of all our hardware products

• Technical support for customers over phone, email and live chat as required

• Relief warehouse picking, packing, receiving inventory and shipping tasks

• Support sales and other staff with support issues as required

• Attendance at training or tradeshows or meeting as required both within Australia and overseas

Essential skills and experience

• Computer, mechanical and electronic aptitude a must, with the ability to work autonomously over time and with training.

• Good customer service skills – good written and spoken communication skills are a must, ideally with some experience in customer facing role previously.

• Ability to work in a small but busy team environment will also be important.
