Junior IT Support Position

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior IT Support professional to join our team as the main point of contact for IT support services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in IT support within a dynamic environment located in Melbourne's CBD.

Position Details

Location: Melbourne CBD
Employment Type: Full-time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week 8.30am to 5pm
Salary: Starting at $55,000 per annum plus superannuation

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for all IT support requests

Provide first-line technical support to staff across the organisation

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

Respond to support tickets and queries in a timely manner

Assist with system maintenance and updates

Document technical issues and resolutions

Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required

Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes

Essential Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or similar field

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

Enthusiasm for learning and developing technical skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills

Experience with Windows and/or Mac operating systems

Familiarity with common business software applications

Basic networking knowledge

Coding Skills
