The role is based in Epping and offers a competitive hourly rate with potential for long-term opportunities! Start in a new full time permanent position or as a payroll contractor both options are available.

About the role:
As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring accurate application of Enterprise Agreements and other relevant payroll rules.
• End to end payroll processing
• Processing and reconciling payroll-related accounts, including superannuation, PAYG withholding, and payroll tax.
• Responding to all employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders across HR and Finance to ensure a seamless flow of information.
• Maintaining data integrity and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end payroll procedures and reporting.

About you
The ideal candidate is a proactive and quick learner with a great attitude. You should be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to hit the ground running.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally in a high-volume environment.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Experience with Access MicrOpay is ideal, but strong candidates with other payroll system experience will be considered.
