About the roll:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll / Administration Officer to join our team in Hallam. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll & general administration tasks. As a key member of our team, you will also provide administrative support to other departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and payment of weekly payroll for office & site-based staff / EBA

Promptly address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or errors to maintain accurate records

Lodging superannuation, Payroll Tax, Incolink & Leave Plus contributions

Maintain and update employee details, including salary, tax, and banking information

Workcover claims and records

Monthly BAS reconciliation, reporting and payment

Daily bank reconciliation

Monthly reconciliation of credit cards

Assist CFO with annual audit, FBT reporting and any other requested task

Assist Directors with HR matters

Other tasks as directed

About You:

Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Payroll Officer (exposure to HR matters would be looked on favorably)

Experience within the construction industry (preferred)

Previous EBA experience highly advantageous

Excellent problem-solving and observation skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The ability to identify and priorities time sensitive tasks

Familiarity with accounting software

Proficient in the use of Microsoft office

You are a person who demonstrates the highest level of honesty and integrity

Eligibility:

To be eligible to work at Becon Constructions (Aust) you must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or hold a valid working visa.

You will be required to submit to a national police check. (Only successful candidate will need to obtain)
