Junior Software Developer / Customer Support Consultant - Part-time Permanent Opportunity - Onsite, Melbourne Office

Our offer:
A competitive salary of $25 - $30 per hour negotiable depending on your level of experience. Approximately 16 - 20 hours per week.
A great opportunity to learn from real life experience, building real product. Both from the software development perspective and operation perspective
You will be working with a small team which allows for continuous feedback between team members. This will help you learn the business and gain experience very quickly.
We will provide ongoing training, as well as any support you may require so that you have all you need to carry out your role.
The ideal candidate:
Know how to code, ideally second or third year university doing Computer Science or IT and is eager to learn and seeking industry experience. Have solid knowledge of software development principles.
Great organisational skills are a must as you would be given real responsibility very early on.
Great communication on the phone is essential.
Eager to take initiative and responsibility.
Comfortably working with and open to picking up new technology/software as our business revolves around technology.
A high level of service mentality is required to ensure our customers receive the highest level of service.
Ability to analyse problems and provide meaningful solutions.
Have the legal rights to work in Australia.
What you will do:
You will provide support for our development team and customer support team. There are various tasks that the teams need help with but we do not have the resource to do. Some of the tasks are routine and some will depends on need at the time.
Onsite working in our Office in Queen Street in Melbourne
[Customer support] First level support for all client enquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
[Customer support] Ensuring all inbound calls are proactively answered as soon as possible and assist customers enquiries and escalate to technical support team if needed.
[Customer support] Prepare Support/Training Documentations/Videos.
[Customer support] Provide data migration service
[Customer support] Prepare weekly release note
[Software Development] Maintain our main product MechanicDesk as well as some of our internal products
[Software Development] Create automated test, unit tests and browser tests
[Software Development] Code/Create customised template for our customers
