SUPPORT WORKERS – Permanent Part Time & Casuals

Position 1 is a permanent part time based at our High Street service in Epping.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:45am to 3:00pm

Position 2 casual positions (shift may be 8.45am-3pm, 10am-1pm and/or 11.30am.2.30pm)

About the roles

The role of the Support Worker is to provide appropriate support, assistance and guidance to people with disability to enable each individual to maximise their opportunity and realise their full potential in life.

Support Workers are responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating group programs that provide opportunities for participants to develop their independence and skills, access and engage in their community and achieve their goals and aspirations, as identified in their respective NDIS and/or person-centred plan.

Salary is as per the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Classification: Social and Community Services Employee, level 2, pay point based on years of experience.

About you

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and person-centred applicant who can work effectively within a team as well as independently when required.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times.

Experience and relevant qualifications in the disability field are preferred.
