CASUAL CHEF – OPHELIA WESTGARTH

Ophelia is a cozy and vibrant eatery in the heart of Westgarth, known for our commitment to seasonal, local produce and thoughtfully crafted dishes. As we grow our team, we’re looking for a Casual Chef to join our kitchen — someone who shares our love of fresh, produce-driven food and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

Prepare and execute a seasonal, produce-driven menu with a focus on quality and consistency

Assist in day-to-day prep and service across breakfast and lunch

Help maintain smooth kitchen operations, stock rotation, and minimal waste

Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and teamwork

What We’re Looking For:

Experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in a café or restaurant setting

A genuine passion for food, seasonality, and sustainability

Strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude

Availability 2–3 days per week, including weekends as required
