PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport is looking to appoint an experienced Casual Chef to coordinate & prepare an excellent service standard.

The Role:

Prepare, create and present à la carte menu items for the Airo Restaurant & Bar, In Room Dining and Functions

Produce options that cater for a range of food allergies and dietary requirements

Ensure all operating supplies and food products are sufficiently stocked for the smooth operation of the kitchen

Be able to work the evening shift until late.

Maintain a hygienic and clean work environment

Promote a fun, professional and dedicated work environment

Covering sick calls and last-minute covers. Flexibility for this role is crucial.

You must be able to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.

Ideally you will have:

A passion for the hospitality industry and food

Completed a Certificate III Commercial Cookery or equivalent

Previous experience as a Chef within an A La Carte hotel restaurant environment

A positive, team orientated approach with a passion for genuine hospitality

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and an eye for detail
