Casual Chef – Albert Park (20–30 hrs/week)
$32–$45 per hour (depending on experience)
We're looking for an experienced and reliable Casual Chef to join our small, friendly team at Ascot Catering, based at the Albert Park Yachting & Angling Club.
You'll be working in a beautiful beachside venue, preparing fresh, seasonal dishes for a variety of events — from casual lunches to private functions and weddings.
About the Role:
20–30 hours per week (flexible roster)
Duties include working across the salads and fryer sections, food prep, plating, and maintaining kitchen standards
Shifts may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends
Immediate start available
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in a commercial kitchen
Minimum 6-12 months of commercial kitchen experience required
Is reliable, efficient, and a good communicator
Works well under pressure and as part of a team
Has strong attention to detail and pride in their work
Must have Australian work rights
Food safety certificate is preferred but can be flexible
