Looking for a sea change or the opportunity to join an exciting kitchen as we expand and become the most exciting Bistro in Torquay!

The Surf Coast offers countless beaches, wineries and attractions, as well as major retailers, hospitals, schools and sporting facilities. 20 minutes from Geelong or just an hour up the freeway to Melbourne.

The Torquay Bowls Club is expanding and looking for a casual Chef/ cook to help our kitchen during the busy summer season. The ideal candidate would have 3+ years experience and be proficient on larder and fry section in busy kitchens. This role could lead to full time for the right candidate.

The Torquay Bowls Club bistro serves meals 7 days a week over summer and 5 days during the quieter months, utilising local produce to help create seasonal menus and continue to serve the classics.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Working closely with the head chef to ensure the kitchen is running smoothly

Working in a team environment

Ensuring quality food for the venue for regular service and functions

Food Safety and OH&S

Monitoring and maintenance of stock
