Senior operations coordinator

Perth Full time, Week: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Full-time AL, SL, LSL. Industry Super.

EOFY Bonus system, starting with an extra two weeks' pay paid each June.

Vermeer Equipment of WA & NT supplies Heavy Mobile Equipment solutions to the mining, utility, environmental and civil infrastructure sectors.

In this newly created role, working alongside our aftersales and sales managers, you will oversee projects, product supply, and communicate company activities to ensure efficient, safe, and timely product delivery. This hands-on position encourages cross-department collaboration, supports ongoing improvement, and monitors financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate projects: monitor schedules, follow up with teams, remove obstacles and ensure milestones are met.

Improve operational efficiency: analyse performance against targets, identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.

Oversee administration & finance support: maintain databases, process expense reports, assist with budgeting and financial tracking.

Stakeholder liaison: communicate proactively with clients, suppliers and internal departments to ensure clarity and timely action.

Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and communication.

Mentor and develop teams to strengthen capabilities and foster a positive safety culture.

Develop and maintain WHS policies.

Required Skills

Strong organisational ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to analyse issues and implement practical solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication for liaising with teams, management and external stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning other relevant software.
