Opportunity

Legeneering is seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to take a leading role in overseeing and supporting the delivery of complex brownfield projects.

This position is well suited to someone operating at a senior coordination or emerging project management level, who is ready to take on greater ownership and drive outcomes across design, engineering, fabrication, and offshore execution. You will work closely with senior leadership and clients to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard — playing a key part in Legeneering’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and driving end-to-end project delivery, working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives. Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Taking a lead role in the planning and coordination of assigned projects, ensuring clear objectives and accountability across the team.

Supporting the Project Manager in all aspects of project management and acting as a delegate when required.

Providing robust technical and commercial assessments of upcoming and active projects to inform decision-making.

Leading the review, planning, and definition of requests for quotations and Scopes of Work.

Independently managing the delivery of small to medium projects, with minimal oversight from senior management.

Driving the development of engineered structural and piping solutions alongside Engineers, Technical Advisors, and Designers.

Overseeing the creation of execution work packs and ensuring readiness for fabrication and offshore execution.

Taking ownership of project schedules, including identifying critical path activities and implementing mitigations for schedule risks.

Coordinating and reporting on project operating budgets, including identifying potential cost savings and efficiencies.

Acting as a primary interface with clients on technical matters, modifications, and repairs to ensure alignment and timely resolution.

Liaising directly with clients to ensure delivery targets are achieved and expectations are exceeded.

Providing guidance to Project Engineers, Coordinators, and Designers to ensure alignment and efficiency across disciplines.

Collaborating with other Legeneering business units to optimise capacity and performance.

Preparing reports and presentations for senior management and clients, including progress, risk, and cost reporting.

Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have strong knowledge of:

Offshore Oil & Gas operations and maintenance principles, procedures, and practices

Structural and mechanical design and engineering principles

Fabrication principles and workshop coordination

Lloyds / ABS class requirements

Risk and hazard management processes

Project controls, budgeting, and reporting practices

QHSE management principles

Minimum Position Requirements

Project Management, Engineering, or relevant Trade Qualification

5+ years’ experience in Project Management, Coordination, or Project Engineering (desirable)

Proven experience coordinating structural and piping design and engineering projects (desirable)

Oil & Gas industry background

Demonstrated ability to lead project elements with a high degree of autonomy
