Finance & Payroll Support Officer Part-Time (18-20hrs per Week)

At Nexus Care Services, we support people across Queensland through disability and child safety programs. Behind the scenes, our finance team keeps everything ticking, and that’s where you come in.

About the role

You’ll join a small, friendly team working across payroll, invoicing, and finance admin. You’ll make sure staff are paid correctly, invoices go out on time, and our records stay accurate.

When our Finance Manager takes leave, you’ll step up to keep things moving, with plenty of training and support to get you there.

This role is 18-20hrs per week, based at our Underwood office. It’s a great fit for someone who knows their way around Xero, enjoys variety, and takes pride in doing things right.

You’ll be great at this if you:

Have experience in finance, payroll, or accounts admin

Are available to work Thursdays and Fridays (flexible hours) and one other weekday

Know your way around Excel, Xero, and (ideally) NDIS billing systems like FlowLogic

Can balance detail with deadlines and stay calm under pressure

Like being part of a down-to-earth, values-driven team
