About the Role
As Lending Strategy Director, you’ll lead the rebuild, optimisation, and scale-up of the lending division - owning the strategic, operational, and commercial performance across all lending functions.

This role is part of the Executive Leadership Team and reports directly to the Director of Property. You’ll shape the division’s culture, build systems for performance and compliance excellence, and deliver a client experience that sets a new industry benchmark.

Your Core Mandate

• Rebuild and optimise the Queensland lending division into a high-performing, client-centric operation.
• Own and drive the divisional strategy, systems, people, and performance outcomes.
• Deliver consistent operational profitability and SLA compliance ≥ 95%.
• Ensure zero critical audit findings and uphold compliance integrity.
• Champion a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
• Partner with senior executives to embed scalable systems and automation.

Who You Are
You’re a seasoned lending or mortgage professional with proven strategic leadership capability. You know how to balance commercial outcomes with cultural and client excellence - and you thrive in environments where transformation and growth are the brief.

You’ll Bring:

• 8–10+ years in mortgage, lending, or financial services leadership.
• Demonstrated P&L accountability and divisional performance success.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NCCP, MFAA, AFCA).
• Experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in Broker Engine, HubSpot, or similar CRM/workflow systems.
• A commercial mindset paired with authentic, values-led leadership.
