About the role

Fornido Fit outs' is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our growing team in our South Melbourne office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing a range of construction contracts and ensuring efficient administration of all contractual arrangements.

What you'll be doing

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts, subcontracts and variations

Monitoring contract compliance and performance, including tracking key milestones and delivering timely updates

Handling contractual correspondence and enquiries in a professional and timely manner

Providing advice on contractual terms and conditions to project managers and other key stakeholders

Maintaining comprehensive contract records and documentation

Supporting the preparation of tender submissions and contract proposals

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator or similar role within the construction industry, min 1 year experience required in commercial or residential construction

Excellent understanding of construction contracts, subcontracts and relevant legislation

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office suite

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, engineering or construction management
