Loan Market Canberra is a small, tight-knit mortgage broking team based in Braddon. We’re passionate about helping people find the right home loan solutions, and it shows in the many 5-star Google reviews from our happy clients.

Our team includes a Principal Broker, seven brokers, four onshore admin staff, and six offshore support staff. We work hard, support each other, and make sure to have fun along the way with regular team lunches, catch-ups, and quarterly social events.

The Role

We’re on the lookout for a motivated and curious Credit Analyst / Trainee Broker to join our growing team.

This is a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of mortgage broking from an experienced Senior Broker. You’ll get hands-on experience right from the start, learning how loans are structured, how to communicate with clients, and how to manage the process from application to settlement.

Day to day, you’ll:

Help your broker structure and prepare loan applications

Keep clients updated on how their loan is progressing

Liaise with banks and lenders for updates

Support the team to make sure everything runs smoothly

It’s a perfect role for someone looking to kick off their career in finance, with no experience needed just the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

About You

You’re new to the industry but eager to learn the ropes

You’re a young professional with great people skills (hospitality or customer service background is a big plus)

You’re organised, proactive, and love a bit of variety in your day

You’re confident communicating with clients and working as part of a team

You’ve got a genuine interest in finance, property, or helping people achieve their goals
