ViciPark’s mission is to be a modern gymnastics club offering a safe gymnastics experience in a warm, friendly and inclusive environment.
ViciPark opened its doors 30 years ago with a mission to provide the Rockhampton community with quality gymnastics and trampolining programs.
Today, ViciPark offers programs for Under 5’s, Recreational and Competitive Gymnastics, Recreational Trampoline, Parkour, and much more. The Club, its coaches, Member Services staff, and Committee encourage kids of all ages, genders, and abilities to get involved.
Preparing for Growth
Over the past few years, ViciPark has undergone a makeover with a refreshed brand, two large fans for warm days, and the installation of an Olympic-grade sprung floor.
The Club and its team are now ready for the next phase of growth, and the recruitment of additional Member Services (front desk) staff is vital to the Club’s plans over the next two years.
About the Role
ViciPark is looking for energetic, passionate, and driven Member Services (front desk) team members who are motivated by providing customers and members with a positive experience in a fast-paced sport and recreation environment.
The ViciPark Member Services team ensures that every member and their family are well looked after and that their experience is a positive one.
Whether you’re looking for a few afternoon shifts a week or a Saturday shift, there are hours available, with ViciPark open six days a week.
While we work around your availability, we are ideally seeking people available in the afternoons from 2.30pm to 7.30pm Monday - Friday, and from 7.30am to 3.30pm on Saturdays.
The role also involves handling customer relationship management (CRM) software. While you don’t need prior system experience, confidence using computers is advantageous.
Paid Training Provided
All new Member Services (front desk) team members participate in a paid training and buddy program to help you prepare for comfortably running the Member Services area on your own.
Further training for the Member Services team will be provided on an as-needs basis.
Duties
Providing membership support to gymnasts and their families
Managing new enquiries, trial bookings, invoices, and member queries
Ensuring members receive an exceptional experience
Maintaining a clean and tidy facility and sporting environment
Working with the Member Services & Administration Manager to improve the member experience
Skills and experience
Excellent communication and people skills
A desire to work in a fast-paced sport & recreation environment
Ability to handle feedback in a professional manner
Confidence using computers and/or CRM systems is advantageous
Working with Children Check (WWCC) preferred*
*If you do not currently have a WWCC, we can assist you with organsing one prior to commencing
