We're currently seeking a hands-on, experienced Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at the main site. This leadership role is vital in ensuring efficient production, packaging, and dispatch activities while upholding strict safety and quality standards.

About the Role

Reporting to senior management, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations, leading frontline teams, and ensuring that production targets and compliance requirements are consistently met. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in food, beverage, or any HACCP-regulated manufacturing environment who thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily production, packaging, and dispatch operations

Lead, support, and develop a team of production and warehouse staff across shifts

Monitor and adjust production schedules to meet demand and delivery timelines

Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with WHS and food safety protocols

Uphold HACCP, hygiene, and quality assurance standards across the facility

Maintain accurate stock records and oversee monthly inventory counts

Assist with equipment troubleshooting and liaise with maintenance as needed

Manage staff rostering, timesheets, leave, and performance reviews

Participate in audits, reporting, and the implementation of corrective actions

Contribute to hands-on operational support during peak periods as needed

What You'll Bring

Qualifications:

Valid Forklift Licence (required)

Mechanical aptitude or trade background (advantageous)

Experience:

Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role within food, beverage, or HACCP-regulated industries

Exposure to fast-paced production and logistics environments

Proven ability to lead teams in hands-on operational settings

Skills:

Strong leadership and communication skills

Solid understanding of HACCP, WHS, and Chain of Responsibility requirements

Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities

Proactive problem-solver with strong decision-making ability

Comfortable using digital systems for stock control, rostering, and reporting
