A leading pet specialty company has vacancy for a production manager to oversee the manufacture of specific micronutrient products. This is an exacting position which requires specialist knowledge and a high degree of personal discipline. Suitable applicants must meet the following criteria:

· must possess a minimum 12 months experience in the field of micronutrient blending,

· must possess an in-depth knowledge on the risks associated with the potential toxicity from handling micronutrients.

· must possess an in-depth knowledge of the potential for toxicity or malnutrition from feeding the manufactured product.

· must have a working knowledge of handling and working with live microbial ingredients.

· must possess a minimum of 2 years experience working in the field of micronutrient product blending.

· Must possess 2 years minimum experience managing a GMP production facility,

· Will be able to demonstrate attained skills in monitoring, recording and auditing material flows within the facility.

This is a full time position in Melbourne's northern suburbs and offers an above award salary plus superannuation.
