Risk and Insurance Coordinator

• Temporary Role – Immediate Start
• $65 - $70 per hour + Super (Negotiable based on experience)
• North Ryde Location

We are currently seeking an experienced Risk and Insurance Coordinator to complete a long-term contract with our client based in North Ryde. This has the potential to become a permanent role for the right person.

The Role

• Develop and maintain core risk governance documentation, including the Organisations Risk Appetite Statement
• Lead organisational risk identification and mitigation strategies in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team, Directors and Business Unit Leaders
• Coordinate and support business continuity planning across the organisation.
• Manage insurance and claims processes
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure each business unit has appropriate risk plans in place.

About You

• Strong understanding of risk frameworks and insurance management
• Desirable experience ideally in a public sector or consultancy context
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suit, with a focus on Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—you need to be proactive, approachable and build relationships across the business.
