• Business Analyst - Chapter Lead
• 7-month contract – ASAP Start - Russell, ACT
• Permanent and contract option - NV1 Security Clearance

Our client, a Federal Government department whose focus is Australia's national security, require the services of a Business Analyst - Chapter Lead.

Duties of the Business Analyst

• Provide targeted business analysis support to projects requiring short-term engagement (typically 2–6 weeks).
• Conduct requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Support testing and engineering coordination, including test planning, execution support, and traceability.
• Provide BA input to the development and maintenance of project coordination artefacts (e.g., schedules, RAID logs, status reports).
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and contribute to solution design and delivery planning.

Skills and Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex project environments.
• Strong understanding of business analysis practices (e.g. BABOK), including requirements management, benefits realisation, and testing/engineering coordination.
• Familiarity with Service Management principles and frameworks (e.g., ITIL) is desirable.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across both ICT delivery and business uplift contexts.
