For Technical Business Analysts and Business Analysts to deliver clear and actionable technical documentation and process analysis within a government health data organisation. A contract full-time role requiring onsite attendance at least 3 days per week.
- Requires: Proven experience in technical business analysis with strong skills in technical documentation, especially using Visio and Confluence, and familiarity with data and analytics concepts including ETL, APIs, Cloud, and data lakes.
- Salary guide: $75ph - $125ph (higher for very senior APS6 with niche technical skills)
- Location: Canberra region, ACT
Your normal day will involve:
- Creating accurate and consistent technical and process documentation
- Translating complex discussions into clear, structured requirements and artefacts
- Preparing proof of concept, pilot, and RFQ documentation including scope, objectives, and success criteria
- Creating tender packs featuring functional and technical requirements and supporting diagrams
- Assisting with vendor technical Q&A and evaluations
- Performing gap analysis on current and future state processes, systems, data flows, and integrations such as ETL, APIs, and Cloud platforms
- Supporting rollout readiness including data migration documentation and transition planning
- Utilising Visio and Confluence to build process maps, swim-lane diagrams, data flow diagrams, and integration specifications
This Technical Business Analyst role is ideal for candidates who thrive on creating clarity from complex technical discussions and enjoy producing high-quality documentation that supports key decision-making in government health and welfare data management. You will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision, applying your knowledge of data analytics platforms, cloud technologies, APIs, and ETL processes to support project deliverables.

- Must hold Australian citizenship
