Be at the forefront of industry change. We are looking for a collaborative and experienced team leader to join our aged care team.
The Workforce Team Leader provides operational leadership and supervision to Community Support Workers (CSWs) and Domestic Assistance Workers (DAWs) to ensure the safe, effective and high-quality delivery of aged care services. The role is accountable for the performance management and professional development of their team, including recruitment, induction, orientation, ongoing support and offboarding.
In this rewarding role you will:
Lead and support a team to deliver aged care services aligned with consumer-directed care and wellness principles.
Oversee service quality, staff performance, and compliance with legislative and contractual requirements.
Analyse and manage workloads, reporting, and resource allocation.
Build strong relationships with clients, staff, and community stakeholders.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of team members.
Promote a positive workplace culture focused on safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
This is a full-time role, based in our Albury, Corowa, Finley or Deniliquin office.
The role is classfied under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award, with an annual starting salary of $100,776 plus superannuation and access to salary packaging benefits.
About you
You are a capable leader with experience managing teams, ideally in aged care or community services. You’re organised, people-focused, and committed to delivering quality care outcomes. You have:
Leadership experience in staff and/or volunteer supervision
Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and the SCHADS award
Excellent communication, flexibility and time management skills
The ability to be empathic yet assertive
A love of collaboration and team work
Current driver’s licence and aged care clearance
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
