As a Disability Services Officer at CareCo Services, you will be responsible for:

Oversee day-to-day service delivery, ensuring practices align with organisational standards and participant goals.

Lead by example in implementing best practice support strategies and person-centred care.

Provide ongoing support and supervision to individuals with intellectual, physical, social, and emotional disabilities.

Coordinate and implement individualised support plans in collaboration with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Facilitate group activities that encourage independence, inclusion, and personal development.

Communicate and work collaboratively with families, carers, and allied health professionals.

Maintain accurate documentation in line with NDIS and organisational standards.

Promote safety, wellbeing, and inclusion across all service environments.

To be successful in this role you must have:

Diploma Level Qualification in Disability or Community Health

At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.

Ability to work flexibly to respond to changing customers’ needs.

Ability to coordinate services according to relevant program guidelines.

Experience maintaining computerised customer information systems.

High level administrative and organisational skills.

High level of written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to contribute positively to the team.

Current and clear Criminal Record Check.

Current Drivers Licence.
