About the role – Permanent Full Time
The Client Engagement Officer supports people with disability to access the right services through Baptist Care SA. As the first point of contact for NDIS inquiries, the role guides clients and families through intake, assessment, and transition with care and professionalism. It includes developing tailored service agreements, maintaining accurate records, and working with service teams to ensure a person-centred approach. This rewarding role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while improving service quality.
Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Acting as the first point of contact for NDIS inquiries and supporting clients through intake and assessment processes.
Developing Service Agreements and Schedules of Support tailored to individual client needs.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth client transitions and ongoing support.
Maintaining accurate records and contributing to continuous service improvement.
About you:
You will be a compassionate, client-focused professional with strong communication skills and experience in NDIS or community services. You manage priorities independently, maintain accurate documentation, and build positive relationships with clients, families and stakeholders. You are adaptable, empathetic, and patient, with a genuine commitment to supporting others and continually improving the quality of care provided.
You will also have the following skills and experience:
Relevant qualifications or demonstrated relevant experience working within an NDIS environment
Previous experience in a client service role
Experience working with people with disability or community services
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience using client management systems and databases to maintain records and prepare reports
