Pakenham Waste Transfer Station | Casual (Saturdays) | Potential extra shifts
Help maximise recycling and reduce landfill at our busy Pakenham Waste Transfer Station. The site manually sorts materials to recover the highest possible volume of reusable and recyclable content. We accept most waste types, including builders’ waste, general waste, green waste, cardboard, car batteries, metals (including whitegoods) and electronics. Charges apply per cubic metre.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls and assist with enquiries
Weigh trucks in and out over the weighbridge and record data accurately
Provide friendly, efficient customer service to all site users
About You
Bright, professional and customer-focused with solid administration experience
Quick to learn new computer systems; accurate data entry skills
Reliable and punctual—essential for Saturday coverage
Suits someone returning to work, semi-retired, or a student seeking weekend hours
Hours & Flexibility
Regular Saturday shift
Opportunity for additional hours/days to cover absences when available
