With strong growth and brand-new, purpose-built premises, we are seeking an experienced Office Manager to take ownership of our finance, administration and compliance functions.

About the Role

This hands-on leadership position is responsible for the overall financial management and administrative integrity of the dealership. Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health, efficiency and compliance of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations and end of month processes.

Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets and performance analyses.

Manage cash flow, inventory costing and control processes.

Ensure compliance with QLD Transport regulations and documentation requirements.

Maintain HR records for 12-16 staff, ensuring compliance with Fair Work legislation, award requirements and best-practice employment standards.

Oversee administrative systems and continuously improve internal processes.

Manage marketing and promotional claims from manufacturers to ensure Bay City Marine receives the maximum benefit from every campaign.

Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Liaise with external auditors, accountants and key suppliers.

About You

Experience in the marine or automotive dealership industry is highly regarded.

Proven experience in an a similiar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, systems and financial controls.

Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Ability to manage competing priorities and lead by example in a dynamic environment.
