Spectacular national parks surround Alice Springs. The lifestyle is laid back with an emphasis on outdoor activities and the arts. The central desert region of Australia is unique. It is a friendly, welcoming place suited to anyone with a sense of adventure and those interested in indigenous health issues, not generally seen by most health care professionals in Australia
Alice Springs Hospital teaching hospital affiliated with the Flinders University in South Australia and Charles Darwin University in Darwin.
