Ground Science is a Geotechnical & Environmental consultancy firm based in Thomastown, Victoria with a strong laboratory focus.

We are seeking the skills of an experienced construction materials field and laboratory technician to work on major road projects.

To be considered for this position you will need to have the following;

Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques or higher .

Current Nuclear Density license

Minimum 2 year experience as a field tester in the civil construction industry

Experience on major road projects (preferred)

Experience and understanding of Australian standards (AS1289) within the laboratory and field.

Experience with Level 1 inspection and testing as per AS3798

You will need to be capable of working in a physical, high pressure environment

Hold a white card (can be obtained during training)

The ability to communicate and liaise with clients

Hold a current Victorian driver's license

Remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience as per Manufacturing & Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2010 ref MA000010.
